Overview
Pomomento is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not sell personal data, do not run ads, and do not track users across apps or websites.
The app stores data locally on your device and, if enabled, securely in your private iCloud account.
Data We Collect
Pomomento does not require an account and does not collect identifying personal information such as names, email addresses, or location data.
Data generated by the app (such as focus sessions, focus profiles, and settings) is stored:
- Locally on your device, and
- In your private iCloud container if iCloud Sync is enabled
Purchases & Subscriptions
Pomomento offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Payments are processed by Apple via the App Store
- Pomomento uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status and entitlement access
- RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase-related information (such as product identifiers and subscription status) but does not receive personal identifying information
Pomomento does not have access to your payment details.
iCloud Sync
If enabled, Pomomento uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to sync app data across your devices.
- Data is stored in your private iCloud container
- Data is associated with your Apple ID, not with Pomomento
- Pomomento cannot access your data outside of your iCloud account
Screen Time & Family Controls
If you enable app blocking or focus restrictions, Pomomento uses Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls APIs.
- These features are optional and require explicit user consent
- Pomomento only uses these APIs to support focus sessions
- Screen Time data is not collected, stored externally, or shared
Notifications
Pomomento may request permission to send notifications related to focus sessions or optional reminders.
Notification preferences can be changed at any time in system settings.
Analytics & Tracking
Pomomento does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
If this changes in the future, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
Data Sharing
Pomomento does not sell or share user data with third parties.
Data is only shared with Apple services (such as the App Store and iCloud) and RevenueCat for the purposes described above.
Children's Privacy
Pomomento does not knowingly collect data from children.
All data remains on-device or in the user's private iCloud storage.

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
